BELOVED AMERICAN BOBTAILS proudly presents their Studs

American Bobtail

It is with anticipated joy and a little sadness that our special boy, Pax aeon Terra "Pax", is now retired from breeding. We never thought we would keep him unneutered for 6 years but Pax has consistently produced amazing, beautiful, large, and loving kittens. While we didn't show Pax very often because of my back disability, when judges saw him, they thought him one of the most stunning American Bobtails ever seen. He's accomplished so much for our breed by being on the TODAY SHOW with Warren Eckstein and being on the cover of CAT FANCY, July, 2007. Pax was so well behaved at the TODAY SHOW, walking on a harness and leash for the first time, greeting all the other dogs and cats and their people and being carried, by hand, by a young lady he didn't know to the studio for the NEW BREEDS OF CATS AND DOGS segment. He was the best behaved cat there and showed off his bobbed tail proudly. It's not that often that you can take a 3 year old unneutered cat who was not shown that often out to a cat show and have him behave. He even flirted with everyone who came by his cage to see him. And if we stayed overnight in the hotel, he and I would play "tag" in the room...a game he made up.

We can't wait until Pax is greeting our guests at our front door with his welcoming chirp and gorgeous blue eyes.

Thanks, Pax, for all the years of love and devotion and for producing babies that are beautiful both inside and out. We are looking forward to continuing your bloodlines in all your daughters.

BELOVED AMERICAN BOBTAILS welcomes their upcoming stud

Our newest and soon to be stud cat, Theo, is a very handsome boy. He has huge boning, a very wild look and the personality of a dog. In fact, he thinks he is a dog. He pals around with our three Shiloh Shepherds and acts just like them. He's outgoing, friendly to everyone, loves to sit on laps and be carried around. We can't wait until Theo is old enough to mate with our beautiful and loving girls. The resulting kittens should be outstanding!

Theo is an amazing young man at one year old. He loves everyone he meets and everyone loves him back. He has personality plus and is a very gentle soul. Watching him mature is a pleasure and I can't wait to see what he looks like when he's 3 to 4 years old and all grown up.
